VisaSalaries is an independent data research project aggregating U.S. Department of Labor disclosure filings on H-1B, PERM, and prevailing wage determinations. We publish verified wage data, prevailing wage comparisons, sponsorship analytics, and PERM processing benchmarks — updated quarterly from official DOL OFLC sources.

Our mission

Work-visa wage data is public, but scattered across large quarterly government spreadsheets that are hard to search and easy to misread. Our mission is to make that data legible: to turn millions of raw DOL filings into clear, source-cited answers about what employers actually pay, how offers compare to prevailing wages, and how the H-1B and PERM systems behave in practice.

What the project does

  • Aggregates DOL OFLC disclosure data (H-1B LCA, PERM, and prevailing wage) into searchable, per-company and per-occupation views.
  • Computes prevailing-wage premiums so a salary can be read against the legal benchmark for its occupation.
  • Publishes sponsorship analytics and PERM processing benchmarks by company and occupation.
  • Provides free FY2027 H-1B weighted-lottery decision tools and an in-browser salary dashboard.

Every figure is sourced from official DOL filings and built using the steps documented on our methodology page.
