Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2, 2026
VisaSalaries is a data research project, not a social or account-based service. We are built to be read, not to track you. This policy explains what little we collect and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not request, collect, or store personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details in the course of normal browsing.
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you request a page — for example your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. These logs are used only to operate the site, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse, and are not used to build profiles of individual visitors.
If you email us at hello@visasalaries.com, we will have whatever information you choose to include in that message, used only to respond to you.
Analytics
We do not currently run third-party analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, and no advertising or tracking pixel embedded in the site, and we do not set tracking cookies.
If we add analytics in the future, we will choose a privacy-preserving, cookieless solution and update this page to describe exactly what it measures before turning it on.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Any cookies set are strictly functional (for example, those a hosting or security provider may use to serve the site), and we do not use them to identify you across sites.
Data we publish
The wage and filing data shown on the site comes from public U.S. Department of Labor OFLC disclosure filings, not from our visitors. It concerns employers and disclosed positions, and is published by the government as public records.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to request deletion of it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Because we do not collect personal information beyond the standard server logs described above, we do not sell or share personal information, and there is generally no personal-information profile to disclose or delete. California residents may still contact us at hello@visasalaries.com to exercise any of these rights, and we will respond as required by law.
EU/EEA & UK residents (GDPR)
If you access the site from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the limited processing of server-log data described above is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@visasalaries.com. As above, because we do not maintain visitor profiles, most requests will simply confirm that we hold no personal data about you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, if we add privacy-preserving analytics. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.
